How to reinstate your license in Wyoming

  1. Once your driving record has been updated with the conviction, the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) will notify you of the ignition interlock restriction by mail. Ensure your mailing address is updated with the WYDOT Driver Services.
  2. Call 1-833-545-0368 to schedule an ignition interlock installation appointment.
  3. Get the ignition interlock device installed, please make sure to bring all required documents to your appointment. We will provide you with proof if installation for you to give to the WYDOT.
  4. File proof of financial responsibility (SR-22 Certificate of Insurance) with the WYDOT.
  5. Pay $50 reinstatement fee and all other required fees.
  6. Apply for an IIR restricted driver’s license.
